The project Autism/Culture: “La genialità degli autistici al servizio dei Beni Culturali – la debolezza dell’uomo diventa forza” (“The genius of individuals affected by autism serving cultural heritage – human’s weakness turns into strength”) aims at encouraging individuals affected by autism to work on the restoration of frescos destroyed by natural disasters, with the use of dedicated software.
The project is certified via a statute and its guidelines. As of today, all the Italian Rotary districts, to include 5 clubs from the District 2031 and a sponsor have joined the project. Together, they all make contributions and forecast the budget.
The University of Pavia, which is currently developing the software, has already achieved results and is in the process of optimizing their products.
